Mark Manning - Owner
Mark Manning has owned and operated 2 residential construction companies over the past 17 years in both British Columbia and California. Eleven of those years were spent with hammer in hand leading his crew of carpenters and sub-trades. In addition to having experience with the physical work, Mark received his MBA in finance & project management in 2001 from a prominent international graduate school in France. This combination of practical experience and business acumen ensures Mark maintains effective control over budget, schedule & quality of work with each project.
Sean Phillips - Project Manager
Sean Phillips has 11 years experience as a project manager in residential construction. He is an integral team member who handles the important details of the schedule, production, materials, coordinating subcontractors, and implementing accurate/timely RFI’s, submittals, meeting notes and change orders. Sean is versed in MS Project, CSI division coding and all AIA construction documentation (contracts, payment applications, lien releases).
Anthony Byrne - Project Manager
Anthony joined the Farallon Team after working for a large SF based General Contractor for four years as a senior project manager. Prior to that Anthony completed an undergrad degree in project management and a master's degree in quantity surveying from Limericks Institute of Technology in Ireland. While in university, Anthony earned distinguished academic recognition.
Day to day activities include pricing new jobs, controlling construction documentation, communications with architects, clients and trades. As one of Farallon's lead project managers Anthony controls schedules, finances, communications, procurement, and payment applications among other activities.
Keith Schemmel - Superintendent
Keith Schemmel handles all aspects of field supervision, inspections and coordination with the GC and Project Managers. Prior to joining Farallon, Keith ran his own successful residential construction company for 8 years and holds a CA contractor’s license. Keith is very much hands on out in the field. He is very knowledgeable and creative in overcoming constructability roadblocks.
Guy Norenius - Project Foreman
Guy Norenius is a highly skilled and organized individual that has been in the trades for over 10 years. Guy has had his California GC license for 4 years and is a highly valued team leader.
Rob Bower - Specialty Trim Carpentry
Rob Bower is a veteran of the building sciences with over 30 years in the trades. Prior to joining Farallon, Rob spent the previous 18 years in a high end Marin cabinet shop honing his skills. Rob compliments our team with his expertise in intricate Victorian trim work and clean form modern finishes.
Brian Manny - Project Foreman
Brian Manny works as a project foreman and has managed the layout, execution and quality control for some of our most prestigious projects.
Prior to working with Farallon, Brian was a licensed GC in Hawaii. We consider Brian a tremendous asset in covering all aspects of intricate framing thru to the detailed nuances of woodworking at the finish stage.
